Intellectual Property:
  • All content and materials generated by GAAS are the intellectual property of the platform.
  • Users are granted permission to use the generated content for educational purposes only.
  • The GAAS platform, including its design, content, and functionality, is the property of Lingnan University and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
User Content:
  • Users are permitted to use the generated content for educational and non-commercial purposes only.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that the content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
Platform Usage:
  • The GAAS platform is intended for use by educators, including teachers, instructors, and professors, to create and customise GenAI feedback to student assessment activities.
  • GAAS is intended for educational use ONLY and must not be used for any unlawful or unethical purposes.
  • You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • GAAS Team reserves the right to update or modify these terms of service at any time without prior notice.
Disclaimers:

By using the GAAS, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:

  • Privacy Risks: The use of the GAAS tool may involve potential privacy and data security risks. We advise all users to exercise caution and remain aware of these risks. To enhance user safety, from August 12, 2025, all GAAS Fast Feedback templates and processes will no longer include Student IDs or Student names, in alignment with the ITSC Information Security Policy.
  • Data Migration: All data collected by GAAS will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in the GAAS system after use.
  • Bias: Content generated by GenAI Tools may contain inaccuracies or incorrect information.
  • User Access: Users can request to remove or modify their data from the system.
